Well...the diff is on the wrong side, it won't work with the factory suspension or any available longarm kits, and the driveshaft is in the way of the exhaust.

Once you solve those problems it's OK though.

I run a CUCV Chevy 60. Best thing i've ever done. The packaging is tough but it worked out better for me. With a driver's drop 60 I would have had major panhard bar clearance issues.

Just run the exhaust straight down the driver's side, put a 300 in there, and call it good.

Yea, Im running 3 lin LA righnow and its awsome. Gonna do the same thing in my one tone swap. If I run the GM 60 231-300 combb, I wont have to flip the d300. Is the starter out of the way enough? I was just wondering if there were any major isues. Seems nothing I cant deal with. I know and prepared to fab.

The starter leaves plenty of room. I'll see if I can find a clearance pic for you. The only thing that comes close on mine is my suckdown winch, but it's mounted very unconventionally.

x2 on the packaging. There's many things I like better about it.

Yerp, there ya go. Plenty of room. I think it fits better than a HP60. I guess it wouldn't matter if I ran more lift. I'm pretty damn low.

OOOOOH brag it up on how low you are :flipoff2:

I've seen both of the PSD chevy 60's on those jeeps and it is definitely a solid setup. Ain't nothin easy about fitting a 60 in a XJ that is low.

I plan to run a HP ford 60, with full hydro, which means I can mount my track bar backwards with the frame mount on the passenger side. Just an option if you havent bought the axle yet. Full hydro will definitely make packaging easier.

Good Luck
