The motor mounts in my s-10 w/ 4.3 are shot. Right now, I dont have the moolah to go get new ones (come awn, i am a college student!) anywyas, what are some good temp fixes to this problem?

wrap a chain around the frame and put the end link of the chain thru one of the mount bolts with a longer bolt. And no hot roddin' till you get it fixed.

Thats the poor mans ticket right there. Should get you around until you get the new ones.

A long long time ago my dads 58 Chevy pickup broke its motor mounts .So he raped the I-6 with chain and bolted it to the frame and drove for a year until it died. So chain works good <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Ya the ol chain trick has been around for as long as there's been motor mounts.
