does anyone know what if any t-case will bolt up to any 4l60e or 4l80e and give you pass. side drop, not drivers side like the np241.

They have a pass side 241, same bolt pattern

NP241 out of a early 90's suburban. I had to get one out of a 3/4 ton or v2500 same difference, because I needed a 32 spline input

Np208 will bolt up, get one for a th350 or 700r4 for the smaller output in the 4l60e or get one for a th400 for the 4l80e. you can also try a tcase out of a cannon or colorado i beleive they are pass side drop and those trucks run 4l60Es i believe. and i believe advance adapters makes a kit to run a np203 for a th350 behind one. you really only need to find the right adapter to matte them up. the 4l60s have 27 spline output just like the th350s and 700r4s and the 4l80s have 32 spline output just like the th400s just find the right adapter for the tcase you want. I am sure advance either has one or can make you one.

I have the adapter for a TH400 to a GM round pattern 205 that I'm not using. I've been told that you could also use this adapter to mate up to a 208 with the appropriate output shaft in the 400. As I uderstand it, the 4L80E has the same bolt pattern as the TH400 but I do not know if there is an output shaft for the 4L80E that would work in this scenario.

you can also try a tcase out of a cannon

I have never tried one of those yet. What do they look like? I imagine that a t case from a cannon must be pretty "bullet" proof.

Pun intended.:D

I can't tell length on there, but I don't see why that would be any different than the NP233 adapter on the back of the 4L60E I just replaced in a Blazer. If that's the case then all he needs is the NP241 passenger side drop assuming he already has a 4L60E 4wd tranny. All the adapters should be the same. Again...this is barring a difference in length, but I just don't see that as being an issue.

*edit* What about clockings? I honestly do not know if the right and left drop NP241's share the same relative clocking.

you have to clock it upwards a good amount to clear the original crossmember or if you want to keep it in the frame rails and not have it sticking bellow the truck

yeah or just make a new crossmember. my front out put ran directly into the crossmember so had to hack it up.

i forgot why i didnt use the original adapter.... something was different about it

later model round faced 205 will bolt to the 4l80e, as well.

Which adapter is used for this... the thick one or the thin one?

depending on output shaft lenght, either.

the 4l80e has the speed sensor on the case, if I remember correctly... correct me if I am wrong here.
