Pike's Peak Rovers has done some really nice chops on the RRC platform. I really liked the orange one from a few years ago.

I'd think the options for someone in the UK would be much greater than on this side of the puddle.

Shipping may hurt, but yeah, that's a good route...if you are shipping from the US, might as well go with a new chassis altogether...

that orange pick up in the middle is the look i'm into, thinking that I'll need a bit more weather protection than some of the "open air" buggys ;-)

iknow this is a D1 but the cab and bobtail look just right, with a tubeframe rear supporting the rear panels

I like the RRC rear corners and tailgate on a disco. That looks decent.

Depends on how you build the Salisbury... In stock form the Sals has still got 24 spline axles (1.24" how silly) the Toyota has 30 (1.3") It's a surpizing difference in strength. I've seen the Toy's with 35 spline shafts too but it's really not worth the trouble.

If you build a Salisbury with 35 spline axles you can take advantage of the uber strong diff.
