Hello cruisers....

I am looking at putting a high pinion and rear in my Rover, but I can't find (did the search) the axle spline count and diameter for stock 94-97? fj80s or v6 runners.

Could someone help me out with this? I am looking at compatability issues for keeping my rover axles.....

My guess is that your rover axles are less than 30 spline, which is what the cruisers axles are. Which locker are you looking for the front 8.5 incher or the rear 9.5 incher? Is your rear rover axle FF? Cause there are different years for the FF with the disc brakes and a some early ones have the SF with drums. Good luck.

Why not swap Toyota axles in?

Well, we do have 30 spliners, stock were 10 on my year, 24 later. Most use 30 spline on the rd76 locker. I would be using thirty spline cv's/axles, so that won't be an issue, I am mostly trying to make sure of the spline dia. from the side gears. I have hear 1.27, so that will be real close, I am just looking to confirm.

As for the axle swap, I have a completely new/refurbed brake system and bearings on these, and my suspension is already maxed/tweaked just right for me on the rover tubes. (10 in travel front, 15 rear - w/o straps 12 with).
