River Rock pics

We hit River Rock this past weekend, it's nice to drive to a spot that isn't 30 hours away that has some rocks although it did rain a bit and was mudday! The land owner showed us around in his white toyota PU featured in Crawl; he is super chill. The trails were fun, the park is great, and the car did well.

With that snot on the rocks it looked like you fought for every inch!

Any over-heating issues whislt reving the piss out of it to climb those ledges?

It was! Yeah, you pick a line try it and slide down where gravity wants you. it took me about 30 minutes in that big garden to figure out that you just can't work it like it's dry. You have what I term the east coast "slide", which is like the Moab "bump"; just as you are rolling into an obstacle and slide into it, mat the gas, the tires centrifically expand from 39" to 42" and wala you wind up on top and sort of float across while trying not to run pumpkin first into something really hard!

No overheating, usually only a momentary blip of the throttle would do it with the exception of one or two full throttle assaults; it has gotten a bit cooler here too. They do have a mini rock race course and while I was buzzing around the junior section I did find the rev limiter!;) Still working up to the big boy jumps!

Your rig would love it...road trip!!!!

Ok, maybe I'm behind the times. WTF is holding the thing up? Are the springs inside the tubes? They almost look like hydraulic cylinders to me.
