All right I'm finishing up my full width axle conversion on my Early Bronco and I'm workin on the trac bar set-up. What if I ran the trac bar all the way out to the end of the axle. Wouldn't this allow a larger arc and keep the axle more centered under the vehicle? Or should I just keep it in the stock position, there's gotta be a reason the did that. Let me hear your thoughts. Jake
(Let me know if you can't figger out what I'm even talkin about!)

they made it the length they did to minimize bump steer. They tried to make it the same length and parallel to the drag link with a T type steering linkage and a stock steering box.

If you can, make it the same length, and at the same angle as your draglink. This way suspension travel won't cause the steering to be pulled to the side

If you're still running that idiotic draglink-doubles-as-the-right-end-of-the-tie-rod setup, that'll be a little tough.

yeah I'm going to get my steering installed first and then make the trac bar the same angle to minimize bump steer.
Thanks guys, Jake
