Hey guys, I've been thinking about building a Baja bug but I don't know jack about VeeDubs.

I know everyone here is more into the 4x4 aspect of desert racing, or at least trucks, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any good Baja Bug based websites.

I'd love to do a Class 3 EB, but that's a ways off cash wise. Recently I have toyed with the idea of a Class 11 entry just to do the 1000. Just think for less money you get to spend more time racing. (That was always my complaint about drag racing, i.e. the better you are/ more you spend the less time you actually spend racing.)

Even though I don't really ever plan on racing, Class 5 looks bitchin', and I'd probably build my Baja to fit into that class.

www.chirco.com has good forums and info too, great folks. I have a mild '72 baja bug that I love. easy to work on and just plain fun.
