Whats up? I am a Milpitas resident that lives up in hills past Ed-levin park. Just got a '87 sami and have no one to wheel with. I am new to this site and to the sport. Is there any clubs here in nor cal that I can join? I will set some bait out there for you guies, I have a 180 acre play ground that I'm building a trail on in the hills + a shop and fab skills.

Zuk - most of the wheeling isn't in the bay area. The best wheeling is in the Sierra Nevada mountains, up to Lassen and south to Death Valley.

You got cougars out there on that 180 squares? A fella I know(former NFL star) owns quite a few thousand acres out there and has had issues with his cattle going down to the claws of cats.

If I was you, I'd start exploring the back country. Find your favorite area and join that particular club.

Anyway, to answer your question, here's a thread about clubs in CA:

Edit: I change a diaper, click post, and see Jethrodeg beat me to it.

Yea we have some cougars out here. I have lived out here 5 years and have only seen one, actually let me refraze that, I have almost hit one with my car. May be I might have worded my post wrong, I don't really know anyone in the area that likes to go offroad kind of looking for some people to hang out with. I thought maybe there would be some local groups around here.
