The circle track beadlocks are pretty thin, and they bend easy, some guys in my association use them and love them, but if I can bend up the bead on my thick steel wheel, that sheet metal beadlock ring will get destroyed.

Just bumping this up to see if anyone else uses circle track racing beadlocks. Have been researching and Aero Wheels have them 15x8 beadlock for $100 a piece, they are steel rim and steel lock.

Sorry for the JUers but they due not come in chrome, silver or black powdercoat rim, yellow powdercoat lock.

You can get MRT or Allied locks (36 and 32 bolt) for like $140-$150. Save up a little and don't risk it.

Anyone heard of OMF (think thats right) locks? They look really durable and look like a pretty good design. Theyre in the new JP..

most of the dirt/stock car bead locks only have 16-20 screws. most rock crawling bead locks have 30+

You are wrong on that newbie :shaking: Why don't you check out how many Trailready's have, and they are just about the front runner in competition beadlocks.

They are basically the same as Champion..aluminum only..which means no 15" on 8 lug

YJFISH: Allieds are 32 bolt. MRT's are 36 or 18 depending on which ones.

You want real world advice...spring for some decent ones..I have seen lots of treaked and bent rims/beadlocks in the Calrocs series...

I bought Allieds after trying to get MRT's with bad luck...my buddy had bad luck with TR..so, Allied is was..I have severly beat the piss out of them and they have not bent..they are only scratched...They were cheap (Only $150 each vs $215 ea for an MRT) and I didn't really expect them to last this long as well as they did...I figured that I'd have to be bending them back or replacing rings..but they seem to hold up great...I am surprised...
