Butch -- GREAT DEAL! Nice looking wagon.

Mitch -- I forgot the camera! I was pulling out those damn cedar trees with the FJ40 last weekend. Managed to snap one clean off (about 6" diameter), but got other ones by the roots. Too dry, so the ground is a little too hard. Still the kids were laughing as I was "strapping" the trees... with the 40, I would just take off and "bungee pull" 'em. Oh, kids were well away from the line of action.

I DO NOT have any of the keys for this FJ-60, there was no key code in the glove box, and no owners manual.

You probably already know this, but just in case... if you pull the passenger door panel off, reach in the door and pop out the lock tumbler for the door, the factory key number is stamped on it. I can do this faster than calling the dealer and having them search on the VIN. Besides, most of them usually say "sorry, that's too old, my records can't go back that far".

Plans for the truck really depend upon what it is when it gets here sometime Sunday, talked with the seller, it was towed from an assisted living complex, which went thru an administrator change and the new one, started keeping records of owners of vehicles in the lot. Anyway it had been there around 3 months, the admin. had it towed, he sent the required notices and the registered owners never responded......They are a huge lot, 14 wreckers and they never mess around with the towed vehicles, wholesale the ones that will, and unique vehicles he E Bays.
I will have around a grand in it including fuel for the trip.....

Thanks for the offer but I have no problems getting a legit Tx title for the truck.......
Dusty called me around 1, he has the truck loaded and about ready to head this direction. I asked him what the truck was like.......exact words in Texas Redneck..........Holy S*** you got a F'n steal, SOB has a nearly perfect interior, minor rust at the drip rail...F'n tires look new....I'll give your money back right F'n now!!!

Got the truck home, it really looks good, exactly as described.
I did not know about the key code on the Passenger door lock but I will pop it out tommorrow and get keys cut.
thanks for the heads up!

Yep... keycode works great. I lost the keys to my FJ60 while hiking in Nevada. Got the doors popped open, pulled out the passanger side tumbler. Locksmith was able to make a new key from the tumbler markings (he didn't have the Toyota code for cutting the key). About $50 and I had a new key.

Hey GLO.... if you find any Land Cruiser keys when out wheeling... :)

Toyota of Richardson got me some keys using the code around 2 today we stuck a jump box on it, sumbitch cranked and we backed it off the trailer.
All fluids are full and clean and it drives down the road perfect.
