: Found a q-jet

Found a quadrajet at home, can does anyone know how to identify it?
Well not sure wich number to use,

i got 3 numbers
17053289 on the top end

17054779 on the back

and

17057502 on the side near the throttle linkage.

having that sayd, i cant remember how to hook it up, and cant seem to find any pics or explanations how to conect all the hoses, anyone has pics.

Front bottom right (just above the idle mixture screw) is ported vacuum for the distributor.
The large fat (3/8) line on the baseplate goes to your pcv/charcoal canister (carb -> T -one leg to pcv, other leg to canister).
Big hole in the rear, if your not using the manifold goes to your brake booster.

Plug whats left over.

For a '77? I'd think that it's a regular 750 CFM model. The 800s used to be as rare as hen's teeth when I drove GM stock.

Take that number with you when you go get a rebuild kit.
