Check out buckshotracing.com. They built it. I think they call it the XR2. They have a link to buildup photos on their site.

cool looking car. I read the website link and check out some photos. Sounds to me like this will just be a 'pleasure cruiser' for the dunes and other events. Customers can also buy one for the low down price of: $230k
from the site:
The all new X2-R 2 seater uses the same suspension as our X5R using the new boxed chromoly arms front and rear, Gear One outboard hubs, 3.0 King race series shocks, front and rear sway bars,125" wheel base compared to the 132" of the X5 and X5R, 40 gallon fuel cell mounted on the floor behind the seats, low mounted radiator with roof scoop, full DOT windshield, Corvette dash with glove box and center console with cup holders, reverse camera with 7" screen, PCI radio with intercom, functioning doors with Lamborghini style hinges, Albins sequential gear box, aluminum big block, dual disc 12" clutch, KC HID lights with actuating light bar, 17" Race Line beed lock wheels, full interior upholstery, Beard RX3 seats, Trophy truck radiator and oil cooler, full custom designed body with opening rear hatch, includes $8000.00 paint job of your choice, Gear One billet pedals, 4 piston brakes front and rear and has a Dry weight of 2950 ponds.
