1994 - you have ADD, you just need a set of hubs to put up front. No conversion kit. Get the Aisin's

thank you, as you can see by my post number i am new :) i was searching b4 i asked and was reading about the aisin hubs. they are the factory hubs correct? and from what i hear the best. so all i need to do is go buy a set and they bolt right on? no other needed parts? i do a lot of driving and heard that by adding hubs it helps save the front end and help gas mileage. i also do a fair share of off-roading and would like to eventually add a limited slip or locker. thanks for the help, and for ansering any questions you can, scott

Aisin hubs IMHO are the best. They will bolt right on with no added parts needed. Search on the board for advice on how to remove the dreaded cone washers. Rebuild guide is on outdoorwire here: http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/maintenance/front_end/
you should be able to get a set of Aisin hubs for under $50.00, check the for sale section.

Last year of the solid axle was 1985 (different spline count). You should be fine w/ hubs from 1986-1995.

when i do put the manual hubs on should i do the ADD disconect. i read tha tit is good to disconnect the passenger side vacume line and cap it and leave the driver side connected to a constant vacume source. is this a good idea? thanks,s cott
