OK, I have searched here and Google, can't fawking find it. I'll try to describe as best I can.

I have seen an aluminum hand guard/forearm that basically looks like someone cut the light portion off a maglight and made a forearm from it. It has a knurled surface and from a distance appears smooth.

Can anyone point me to who makes this? I looked thru Brownells and couldn't find it, searched Pete's site, still no luck. I saw one at the Big Show in Reno last Fall, and I really dig it.
