Just wondering if anyone has swapped a single cab body on a blazer frame?
I've got a 78 blazer and I want to install an 85 single cab, just wondering if the
body mounts line up or if I will have to build them. Thanks

A buddy of mine is doing the same thing and he's having to relocate some of the mounts to work. Also you'll have to mod the frame if you want a short bed to fit cuz the wb is different from a truck wb.

thanks for the info. The donor truck is a long wheelbase so there will be some cutting involved to shorten the bedsides.

Done it. The cab mounts bolted right up on mine. No mods necessary for that part.

There are no rear cab mounts on the Blazer frame so you will need to fab something up.The front cab mounts and core support bolt right up :D

You can also swap a Land Cruiser body on the same frame, but its a little more work

I stand corrected on the rear cab mounts. Forgot having to build them. It was about eight years and seven rigs ago that I did that swap.

Did it back in highschool.About 17 years ago.Need to add rear body mount and I believe a 3" body lift to get the bed lines to match. The frame goes up quite a bit behind the front seats.I would just do a flat or tube bed.
Also put a Dodge Aspen body on a Blazer frame back then.Rust in the U.P. of MI will get you to do wierd things.
