I am going to get off the fence and post up my junk, first a 1970 short box Travelette, I pulled the 7.3 out of a 1988 27' IH box truck. I also used the spicer 5spd. The axles ars a swd60 front and a 14bolt rear. I used soft ride chevy 6" lift springs ect. ect. the tow rig:D

Now my trail rig a 77 SSII, on coils. 392, 4spd wide, 4:88 OX lockers, D300 4:1, on and onm I have a 5 speed that is set up for 203/205. I will be swaping the trany out this winter, I am worried about blowing up the 300 and the 4 to1 kit as many here are.:eek:

That travellette is freakin' sweet! Very clean looking truck. How about some pics under the hood and the interior? That is exactly the kind of resto-mod old school tow rig I have wanted to build for a long time.

Yep, I got a heavy duty radiator for a 80s f350 and big electic fans. Working good now holds around 285 with the camper on. July will tell more when I have the Scout on the trailer and camper in the bed:eek:

yes, that Travelette........my wife is very jealous of it.

The t-ette is even better looking in real life, so are the scouts i got to see them last week. JetFxr has some really nice stuff and is one hell of a nice guy.

Love the look of that crew cab!!!!!!! I will be adding this to the Xtreme wishlist for sure.....so if anyone knows where one is for sale PM me.

Definitely, it's just that t-ette is so damn unique.

That t-ette is simply awesome. Pics do not do it justice. I saw it at RMIHR this summer. Very cool. Had a great time chatting with Jetfxr about his build.

I do have a bad fetish I am doing a frame off now and have a very nice 34 C1 SWB pickup to do this winter. I also just bought a rust free (for the most part) 61 Scout 80 something to do later .:grinpimp:

Whats the scoop on the flares on the SSII. IIRC you got in some kind of a beef with a mag guy years ago on the BB. Is that the same rig. Nice looking fleet:)

I got as far as turning the motor over to make sure it would. Need to move a shed from the old place to the new place so I can get all the crap out of my shop to make room for my projects. See if he has a key...
