ok well i have a 6.5 turbo manifolds, downpipes all that, just sittin in my shop, my question is. i have a truck with a 6.2 in it that is not turbocharged.
will the turbo from the 6.5 bolt right up? i relize there will need to be some modifications to the injector lines and stuff. Also i heard that the A/c pump will be in the way, but hey the A/c dosent work so i will just toss it out..any info would be great:D

I've heard this will work. I think Diesel Power mag may have done an article a while ago about this, you can check online for past articles. Also there are a couple of diesel engine websites that cater to GM diesels.

It would have been straight forward, except the 6.2 has a/c. The compressor isn't much of a problem, the giant hvac box hanging off the firewall is. Thats right where the turbo wants to be.

The 6.2 exhaust manifolds and space constraints make bi-turbo "turbo on each exhaust" the best option. Lots of options placing turbos.

parts will bolt on. the ac box can be modified with the s10 evap cover mated to the blower wheel box from the fullsize. I've done two this way. Works out really well.
