I am an avid off-road junkie and also love to hunt. I hunt birds, big game, fish, and dive for bugs (lobster). I am posting to try to find other places or private lands that I can get permission to hunt game birds on. Ducks, quail, pheasant, dove, are all good in my book! If there are any fellow off-road junkies that are also private land owners that allow respectful hunters on their land that would be a dream come true.:D I live in Southern California and would not rule out driving to other states for hunting especially big game hunts. For waterfowl I would prefer to find places south of Fresno all the way to the Mexico boarder.

Most of my Bird hunting has been done on the central coast region.

Dove , quail, pidgin and turkey


If Turkeys are in the mix the central coast ( paso , atascadero ) has pretty decent hunting on Public, private and even guided hunting land.

Most common public land for quail on the central coast is Camp Roberts but there is lots of others.
