I don't know the exact lengths on the 60 or rock shafts, but I can tell you that the cost of machining everything out (and making completely new parts like spindles and such) so that the rock shafts will fit will probably be less than a set of longs CV's. ;)

If I am reading this correctly, you want to put rock shafts into a 60? If thats the case you will need custom knuckles and inner C's for one or find a set like these (picture courtesy of Steve Gerstner) these are from some funky FWD dana 70 iirc. I talked to him about this before and it would be very expensive without a doubt. Wade

Oh yea did I say those knuckles and inner C's are very rare!!! And yes that is a rock shaft in that picture.

I have seen fully fabbed inner and outer knuckles so i am sure making room for the ujoints is posible. but like it was said above, you will have to get all the spindles machined to fit, have custom drive flanges made and i am sure a lot more custom one off parts. if you are goin to do that much work just swap in a set of rocks under your rig and call it a day. and then spend the money on some custom stuff for your new built proof axles.

In short, Yes (with out loads of work put into the welding process).

Can be Stronger. See Welderboy's. Sunray's and Spidertrax's will fit the 1550 Rock U-joint.

agin i typed that wrong.
