I think Prorock is out of the question this year.:( but I will be ready for next year. If everything goes right I should be at EROCC but I'm upgrading and changing so you know how that goes. I really want to have a rig that will stay together for the hole event. :D I have a committed spotter and a new local spot to practice so we shall see.
I'm really shooting to have a solid rig for next years comps. Hint: injection and stuff I feel I jumped in with an unproven/unprepared rig so I need to slow down and get the rig ready for the driver.:D

I just need to finish the front/middle hoop tie-in (rear tie ins are done).

I've got a spare front shaft, spare rear shaft, spare manual hub, 2 spare 60 stubs, spare 60 inners, spare beadlock, spare joints, spare tie-rod. I could get a spare 231 but I don't think my power plant can break it. I'll also try to be grab a spare waggy pack or two in case a main leaf would break.

Other than that the rigs been out a couple times through the rough stuff and the kinks are worked out. It's a little under powered on steep climbs but it'll bounce/climb over most stuff. It's tall enough that the undercarriage doesn't hang up much.

All this revolves around how much tread I'll have to take off my 38" TSLs. Tex has told me that they are 36" on a 10" rim when new. Mine have a couple trips on them and I drive around with about 4 lbs in town. I'll check them this weekend with a caliper. I will have them trued down if it's not too much.

Awesome, It's 27 days to the comp and I will be in Denver the 28th to the 5th. I scheduled the new office setup around the erocc event:D:evil: If I can't have mine on the trailer and ready by the 24th or 25th she's not going. I'm putting scout 44's with a detroit in the front and a spool in the rear SOA with Eric Ruhl high steering arms(which I still need to buy). Hopefully Dutchmans rear axles, warns chromolys, and CTMs as well. We shall see how it comes together. Before next year the plan is a tbi 350, I haven't desided on a tranny(auto or manual), the dana 300 I have in the shop, and a bob job.

But if you have yours ready and want a driver I would be glad to. It puts less pressure on me to get my junk done:D

oh yeah. If you drove my Jeep in the legends it would still count toward your point total for the season. They base that off drivers not vehicles.

I think I'm sitting 7th right now with the pour showing in the seconded event.

Does Buddy still have his TJ? I knew it was forsale for a while.

I'm going hunting for some spare diff. covers and spring packs this weekend. I'll also be checking the tires out for size. I'll keep you posted.

I just told Niki and she said "Why do you want someone else to wreck your Jeep?" I guess she just can't understand the "I built it and want to see how much abuse it can take" philosophy. It really doesn't matter who drives it to me, as long as they aren't purposefully trying to destroy it.

Anyway, you're responsible for the entry fee :D I should have all the vehicle details worked out by Monday. I just need to get over to a friends shop and finish tieing in the cage. This may actually happen.

Buddy is running the TJ in the finals and keeping it. he's building a full tube buggy this winter and will have someone else run his TJ in the legends class next year. It's good advertising for him to have a lot of vehicles in these comps (mine also counts as Foothills sponsored because of all the shit he's given me so I kind of want to help him out by running it).

To funny. Tell Niki Sicko will be good to your baby.:D As far as the entry fee, that's not a problem. I think we can hand that:D I just called my spotter and told him to be 100% ready and about the possible deal. He's fired-up. He's got big arms and is ready to stack rocks:D

Don't start trying to back out now. You will drive my Jeep in the comp if yours isn't done. I fortunately only have a few things to iron out(frame mounts). Last night I started lining up my spare parts and couldn't believe that only having my Jeep done for about 3 months and I've already got about all the spares I need. The really mind boggling thing is that I've found deals and really only spent about $200 for all my spares.

I mean you didn't win and on day 2 everybody got whooped by a SOA YJ on 33s. Your lucky snobrder collapsed his oil filter on day 1 and couldn't figure out what was wrong.
