Are you sure its a 600023 and not a 610023? If ts a 600023 its like 1960s ventage.

Date code says its an HP60, which you stated. It has to be 6100023, whether it looks like it or not, or whether its a typo. That is a standard 78/79 Ford HP Dana 60 from a 78/79 F-250/350. The dash 6 may either be a 4.10 gear, or posi, or both. I can confirm this evening. That axle was built October 3, 1977 for the 1978 model year which began production in July of 1977.

It is clearly stamped 600023-6, but it must be a typo. It is 4.10

My catalog tells me the year, model, gear ratio and carrier. I'm trying to fill in the extra dashes for the type hubs, so if you don't mind, does it have the Spicer manual lockout hubs or did it have drive slugs and chrome caps(if original)? If you punch up the 6100023-6 in Dana's site, it should give you what you are loking for. What are you looking for?

It does have original lockouts. No crome caps. I am new to Dana axles, and want to rebuild the axle. I thought you need the bom to order the correct replacement parts. Thanks for the info.
