so i wanted to see what it could do so i burred the skinny pedel and hit up to 95 and held it there for a bit and then chickend out.. ever since then my oil presure has been 5 less on all reading, crusing and idle. do you think i ripped up the cam baring or the crank barings? think i might get some new main and rod baring and threw them in just caus

Well, what RPM's were you turning??
Over revving kills bearings.... so....
does it tick, knock? is the oil pressure still "good"? Run it till it blows, unless you like the extra work of replacing them.

May have broke it down, change the oil and filter first and see. Turbo guys usually run synthetic and a cooler...

150w40 ey! :D
I'd go synthetic or look at diesel oil designed for turbo like Delo 15w40. Oil change is a lot easier then a bearing job and may be your issue.

X2, you probably broke down the oil.....In that IH mill the camberings are going out anyways so just let em go.
On a related note I got myself into a spot last saturday where I had to run my engine for some time with no oil pressure. Now no pressure doesn't bother me as I've done it many times before but this time it made some real not so good sounds........:barf:

I picked up a couple psi when I changed the oil in my racer (tired ass, worn out 304) and switched to Delo 400. Don't know if the new "low sulfer" crap will do the same.
