I see H.F. item 96144 12volt heater fans that could be used as a rear hatch defroster.

X2, and Calif sucks when you take a vehicle off insurance... DMV sends you a letter with "registration suspended" on it :mad3: Bastards hit me twice with extra fees... even when my tags are paid and current. Why should I pay insurance on a truck if its parked 8 months out of the year?

See if your agent will go "comp only" (comprehensive coverage). This is what I do with (all) of mine if they are going to sit for a significant time (or are long term projects). It still has a policy, and is still insured. If I want full coverage on it for a weekend I just call and have them reinstate, many times my agent will "reinstate" the policy on Friday, leave it on her desk, then toss it in the trash Monday if I'm done.

With comp only I still have coverage for theft, vandalism, damage, tree falls on it, fire etc.... cost like $12-$20 a year. There is a full policy written, just all the expensive stuff is suspended.

Only snow shots I have are oldies...

First shot I took off my deck last year :shaking:

The second was quite a few years ago, as you can see there is still a bit of Scout 800 left :flipoff2:

Thanks, I will stick with there BFH.
Need to find something that does work. Anybody add a rear heater fan unit from a van or Suburban? It's fine on the way up there, but once everyone is wet and cold it's nice to crank up the heat and dry the kids out. plus the windows also go from clear to fogged it about 60 seconds with wet kids and dogs:shaking:
