Does abybody know if the 4.6 and 5.4L V8's have the same bolt patern as the ol' 5.0 (302) windsor bellhousing bolt pattern?

Thanks,

It is my understanding that the 4.6L has the same as the 5.0. Don't know about the 5.4L though.

nope the 4.6/5.4 are different than the 302/351W

So there's no way a 4R70W (AODE-W) tranny from behind a 4.6L V8 will fit behind a 5.0L (302-351) V8 ??????? (that originally had a AOD behind it)

Thanks,
Al

Should also have some extra sensors for the ECM.

Search through the Pantera owners.... there are a bunch of those guys putting 4.6L motors in front of the original ZF gearbox (formerly mounted to a 351C)

There's got to be a way... I read somewhere that the mods were "simple", but that doesn't mean they're not $$$$$
