: Rifle range in CO

Flying in to Colorado next week for an elk hunting trip. Would like to find a rifle range between Denver and Pagosa Springs so I can make sure nothing gets moved during the flight. Any suggestions?

http://www.familyshootingcenter.com is in Cherry Creek (SE Denver). Only goes out to 100 yards, but it's something. Not technically on the way to Pagosa either, but not that far out of the way.

ok ... paper plate with a target drawn on it. lots of open country between denver and pagosa

I've been in WA too long. They frown on that kind of stuff up here. The last thing I need is a ranger showing up to confiscate my guns and hit me with a fine for shooting somewhere I'm not supposed to.

Yes between GJ and Montrose yes In Tride no. Skamania county anyfawkingwhere. Since Ive known the Sherrif for more than 15 years or more possible even outside the courthouse...
