well it should be done tomorrow (keeping fingers crossed). all i have left to do is bolt up a few little things, then put the front brakes on and voila, i can finally drive it again. the brackets and leaves turned out great to get me just the right amount of lift to clear the 37's, the new wheelbase is 104", not sure about if i like that or not but time will tell, should prove interesting though. got the hy steer on, works great as far as i can tell w/o driving it yet. probably will need a drop pitman arm in the future but for now i'll just leave it as is, the angles aren't bad. all in all, it should be done tomorrow....heres some pics......

ha made ya look! gotta wait till tomorrow!! haha! :flipoff2:

Looks good Ryan. Andrew needs to get that shit up on the page. I want to come check it out. I finally got a daily driver so I can do whatever the hell I want to to the Jeep just so long as it still gets to the trail.

i'm still toying with the idea of the front leaves, do you think it was worth it. Is the ride still decent? I have access to about 6 different sets of front leaves and some leaf sprung D44s and 60s, but not the $400 for the RE brackets. O well good work.

ok, well, my internet at my house at school is f-ed up. anyway, yes the ride is great. i took it out yesterday to mt. aetna and romped it pretty good. i broke a frotn driveshaft and a shock, but the leaf conversion worked out awesome. the whole swap really isn't that expensive if you minus the cost of the axle, but the hi steer is what got me. anyway, the road ride is great too. after i get the tires balanced it'll probably ride better but it still rides good even w/o them balanced.
