Ouch! Overly competitive class for that truck IMO.... Two GREAT, experienced drivers though... In many cases, just getting across the line is all that matters, not how fast. Especially when over half the 8 trucks break mid-course.

That's pretty cool but when is Ford going to create a new compact pickup? That would make a better offroad truck than this monster

I ran into the Ford Raptor race team at the Baja 1000 registration today. It sounds like Ali Mansour of Petersen's 4Wheel & Off Road (http://www.4wheeloffroad.com/index.html)is riding along with the Raptor for the San Felipe loop. I also noticed Craig Perronne of Off-Road.Com in their group. The truck has three seats in it so we should get a good look at how their effort unfolds through various media outlets.
