Hello Gents,

I am stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and there is a 1994 Green Discovery with a mild OME lift, new 32" BFG All Terrains, a Roof rack with accessories (shovel, axe, hi lift, etc), it also has an ARB front bumper with a Warn 8500lb winch, Safari Gard( three links?? or something like that) suspension components, as well as front and rear diff guards. It has 138,000 miles, and has tan leather interior with a 5 speed manual. The guy is asking $9,500, I am curious if that is a little high judging from the mileage?? The undercarriage also looks a but greasy and oily, and some surface rust as it is a New York vehicle. I am really interested as I have always wanted to get into the LR scene, but never had the funds. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the help!

Yeah that's a little high for the mileage. As for the oil if it doesn't leak it's empty. Have to get use to that oil leakage. That's a little over blue book for that year especially with the miles. Off-road mods actually decrease the value of these vehicles due to the fact that most people don't want trucks that have actually been used for their intended purpose or even look like they have been. if you could get the guy down like 3000 grand I would consider buying it but that might even be high depending on how well it has been maintained.

Drop 3K! Damn you drive a hard bargin! Sub 10's with all the goodies isn't that bad imo (depending on maintenance). Around here 8-9k would be a quick seller...Especially to a kid who want's the look and dosen't know any better!

If it's locked f&r then I would jump on it. You could part it out for 6-7K (just ask Bill R and myself!).
