Well, I posted a while back about the Howell Fuel Injection I had installed and a cranking problem I was having. Having talked with Howell and trying multiple things and none of them working, I called Howell again and the tech guy there had me walk him through my engine and what ignition I had. He asked some more questions and he thought that I was not getting a good enough tach signal from my ignition computer to the control computer for the F.I. Said that they had run into this with MSD, but not in Crane (yet)
So I called the Crane guys and got hold of their tech rep for the ignition. He asked if I had a tach and if it was working and I said yes and yes. He said you have an Autometer tach dont you. I said yes. He told me that I needed one of their tach signal boosters and that was what the problem was. Tells me 89 bucks and I was like FAWK! He hems and haws and we get the price down to 56.21 and he pays shipping. Told me he guaranteed it would work. I said MONEY BACK and he said YES. It came in this morning, I hooked it up and vroom , cured the problem.
