I bought enough flats to do all of the kits I had - but ended up selling 3 of my 4 kits. They are bent, top rails bent but not trimmed, rails not installed.

Am I stuck with these things, or can I sell 'em and recoup a little of my money to go towards other projects?

As I understand it, they are most likely now firearms.

Since you "made" them for yourself, but then circumstances changed and you will be unable to use them yourself, you can sell them.

Be aware that if you sell them interstate, they'll have to go through an FFL, who will likely not want to touch them since they're maker-less number-less firearms.

If you sell them FTF, you're OK.

No intentions to sell them anything but FTF... I was just worried about even posting up locally that they are for sale considering the grey area.

IIRC, there's ATF standards on how they are to be marked prior to you selling them--your name, home city, some other stuff... technically, if you sell them without marking them at all, it may be illegal under that gotcha.

I think you may want to check that again. If I remember correctly the one down side to home made receivers is the can not be transfered (sold or given).
