Can I mount a divorce t-case up to a slip yoke out of a 2wd trans. I think it will work just fine but figured I ask. Its a chevy 4.8 and 4l60e 2wd and the t-case is a divorced dana 20 going in a Willys Wagon. The only thing I am worried about is movement of the t-case under torque but I figure if I mount it well it will be OK. Any ideas?

As long as you have the correct ends for the jack shaft I dont see any reason why not.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. It's really just a matter of how you plan to mount the case? If it's stout enough it should be fine. I'd say go for it and post up some pics when you get it done.

thats how I have my jeep setup - and I don't even have a jack shft. The ujoint on the slip yoke goes right to the divorced mount tcase. I left enough slip in the yoke to slide it into the tranny to swap the ujoint or drop the tranny if I have to without pulling the tcase.
