I have searched with not much luck!

I have an 85 cj7 the frame is getting bad. I want to change to a newer frame a friend gave me an 98 frame. the body is gone but everything else is there. it has arbs and a lift already on it also. I'm going to swap my cj body on it and would like to know how much work there will be making it fit together

come on no one has any info on this

Actually I'm gonna do a CJ5 body on a TJ frame cause I want the wheelbase/suspension/boxed frame of the TJ with the CJ5 appeal. I fully intend to stretch the body to cover the wheels correctly and look good and because I can't do anything halfway, I plan on a full custom restoration/build which I'm certain will require alot of work. The issue is mainly because the original CJ frame rails were pretty much parallel and the TJ's rails are not. Just my take. Good luck.

I'll be doing a similar build this winter, but with a 5 body and a YJ frame.

Tear-down starts tomorrow. Glad to hear that someone else will be in the same boat.

there is a guy on rockymountainextreme.com whose user name is greenjeep. he put a cj-7 tub on a tj frame and is running tj suspension. i don't recall if he has a build thread, but he would have the info you are looking for.
