It looks like an early vertion of the Sammy. Not sure what you would call it but here is all the info i could find on the tags.
Model- LJ20 V
Capacity- 359cc
Engine Type-L50
Weight- 660Kg
Body #- 105608
Engine #- 168048
Date- 9/72
GVWR- 2230
GAWR-Front-1160
Rear- 1070
Vehicle ID#- 105608
Type- MPV
Guy bought it for $30 to build for his daugther. They are now moving to New Mexico and don't have room to take it with them.
He says that he checked history and that they were never for sale in America but a Oil Company brought in 1500 of them rom over seas for Survey work and that is how it got here.
I've heard it run and seen it drive. It has no glass left in it and the front fenders have minor damage and minor rust. The rest of the cab is in fair shape with minor rust.
The engine is a 2 Cyl, 2 stroke and needs some tune up parts but like i said i've seen it run.
It's definately a different vehicle and for $Free.95 you can't beat the price.
