Im wanting to run 36 tsl's on my 79 cj-5 so im deciding on a spring over lift. I was wondering would i have any problems with the tires or the lift? Can u give me any recommendations about either. Thanx

i fit 36"s with 2.5" springs and 1" body and some TJ flares, no rubbing, but ground clearance sucked.

I'd do soa, 1" body, and some trimming to fit them

Do a search on "SOA" and "CJ5" - there's a bunch of posts. Good rule of thumb - search first, ask questions later.

I'm useing 1" Rancho springs, 1" body lift, bump stops lowered 1-2" & some slight trimming. You can see the rest in my sig.

Awwwwwww, now come on.... You have TJ Flares, and you have your Jeep cut out to accept them, but you DON'T have TJ flares on your Jeep!!! <IMG SRC="smilies/flipoff.gif" border="0">
