Ok I've been lurking around long enough trying to gather info but I have a 2004 2500hd silverado 8.1L alison. I'm looking to sas it. So far I have a couple of 79 ford high pinion dana's From what I gather, I'm going to need 62' inch springs on 32' centers got that covered there is a hugh spring factory 1/2 mile from me. for the steering I'm looking into 1.125" diameter .220" wall DOM cross over steering. using heim joints for the ends. I'm looking to accomplish about 6' of lift. W/ 37' tires. As far as the shackle i'm not sure yet the lenth I'll need. I am not really looking to hard wheel this but I work in and out of gas rig jobs and am sick of the ifs repairs. any help would be appreciated.http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm223/solarbarack/?action=view¤t=Bikehualer.jpg

I would go with a dana 60 front end and 1.5 inch dom, .25 wall tubing for steering with one ton tie rods.

Oops yes it is a dana 60. I have the setup for 411's I think that should be o.k. for 37's. You really think the one ton's are the better way to go? I was looking at replicating something like bullet proof steering offers.

I read the green seal project a few times. It seems like he never got it all lined up quite right. I reread it again.

I read both post, and I know the principles the same but I'm still not sure about the spring hangers, and shackles I'd need.
