::: The 2009 Grand Nationals :::
Sept. 5th - 6th ......Location: Farmington, NM
Tarbaby 11-12-2008, 02:31 PM #111- #112 will be at every event given the economy does'nt take a big dump. We are looking forward to it and have been working our butts off to get the rigs built and plenty of seat time.
MaineZukah 11-12-2008, 04:09 PM I'm very excited that this is on the east coast, can't wait to go watch:smokin:
ftoy507 11-12-2008, 04:10 PM 507 will be at competing.
We have a schedule conflict for PA. Hopefully the local comp will re-schedule. He has several werock competitors in his series. If he does not we will evaluate our points standing closer to the date. He pays big bucks for 1st place.
John Scheidhauer are you out there? Will you be working on our behalf to get some east coast payout from the big 4? Every little bit helps.
slobuild57 11-12-2008, 04:55 PM Ok so here's a noob question but can someone like myself show up at farmington and expect to be able to compete or do you have to "earn" a chance to go (ie: top 5 of season)? That prolly sounds wierd but the closest place listed is 824miles the farthest is 1579miles. I live in the wrong place:shaking:
Lil' Rich 11-12-2008, 05:31 PM Yes, The event in farmington is an invite only based on your standings. As of right now, there is no national championship event for the F-Toys. We are working on another All-Stock Nationals right now, if we find a sponsor for that event, there will be no GNC for F-Toy, if we don't find a sponsor for that event, both the F-Toy and Stocks will be back at the GNC's pending on what the F-Toy board says...
slobuild57 11-12-2008, 05:40 PM Thank you. Just saw Tucson is 734miles hmmm...
Tarbaby 11-12-2008, 06:18 PM 507 will be at competing.
John Scheidhauer are you out there? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ????

There should be a Pro-Rock Comp in Farmington in June. As far as I know anyone can register, pass tech, and compete.

ftoy507 11-13-2008, 05:13 AM Thats 4, now we need to hear from the other Wes and some of the other in process cars.
Tarbaby 11-13-2008, 05:34 AM Thats five #512, #111, #112, #507, & #94. Need a couple more and we would have a west coast showing.
Jeep07 11-13-2008, 01:13 PM Thats 4, now we need to hear from the other Wes and some of the other in process cars.
Right now #510 won't be competing unless I sell it or trade it to somebody that does want to compete... This may change but I've discovered new born babies take ALL your time which doesn't leave any time for wheeling much less wrenching on the rig to get it in competition shape.
scrappy1982 11-22-2008, 10:37 PM i will be there in the #48 buggy i bought from john, rebuilding it, but almost done. it will be my first time competing.:D
mtbrjon 11-23-2008, 06:23 AM Just tuned in. I plan to be at the 3 events that are close to TN. As of right now I have no Ftoy and no plan to have one completed for the season. We have decided to go after the KOH and are building a car for that event. I'll be talking to Lil about judging and hopefully be on a Mod Stock/ Ftoy course. I'll definitely be at the first event to help with Ftoy tech issues. If each of you could pm me your email address that would help us get a better and perhaps more immediate line of communication going. Any questions don't hesitate to send me pm. Good luck to all.
ftoy507 11-23-2008, 06:53 PM This looks like the makings of the best f toy season yet.
toyotanuts 11-24-2008, 04:57 AM i will be there in the #48 buggy i bought from john, rebuilding it, but almost done. it will be my first time competing.:D

Brian Ellinger 03-17-2009, 10:17 AM How's Hannibal for courses? Thinking we might swing that one, its only ~700 miles.
Tarbaby 03-17-2009, 08:31 PM #111 and #112 are in for 2009. It would really help if I could go ahead and get my check from Obama.:mr-t::mr-t::mr-t:

We missed that one last year. Heard they was good.
ftoy507 03-22-2009, 12:25 PM Hannibal courses were some of my favorites. A big drop, several nice climbs, and lots of crazy technical stuff.
You are actually 2hrs closer than me.
toyotanuts 03-23-2009, 10:53 AM does anyone know if we need to prepay, or just pay at the first comp?
ftoy507 03-23-2009, 12:35 PM Last year several people payed at the "tech in" site. Payment in advance would probably be a little easier.
toyotanuts 03-23-2009, 02:14 PM Last year several people payed at the "tech in" site. Payment in advance would probably be a little easier.
ok, I wasn't sure if it was different since we are we-rock now.:p
ftoy507 03-23-2009, 06:22 PM Type WEROCK in your posts and the staff will typically find you.
Do we need to prepay for the WEROCK events or can we pay on site at tech in.

lol, We ask that you prepay so it is easier on our staff, but if needed you may pay on site. Paying at the event can be done ONLY with Cash. We are NOT taking Checks at Registration....
ftoy507 03-26-2009, 05:11 AM I told you it would work.:lmao:
