When running new brake line tubing, could there be any issues in using 1/4" SS tubing for front and rear instead of 3/16" ? It is for a CJ7 with 1 ton axles and disk brakes front and rear.
Thanks

Its a waste of money, your brakes will actually be faster acting with the smaller tubing, otherwise if you can find fittings that will work, its no big deal. Tim

Trust me....go with 3/16th. You don't need or want the larger dia. tubing.

EDIT: It's not the tubing size...it'll be the parts combo chosen....the Calipers, MC, and proportioning valve.

Thanks for the info. Found the Brake write-up in the tech section, answered all my questions and then some.
