That's right, 4x4Grrl's spotter has an injured back, and is no longer able to spot for her. I am now looking for a new spotter for her, specifically for the CalROCS series, and maybe more.

Requirements:
You must be STRONG and BIG. No weaklings need apply. :flipoff2:
You must be familiar with competition type wheelin. Techniques, etc....
You must be a good driver! The best drivers make the best spotters!
You probably should live in Northern CA, so you can practice.

Pay:
You get 50% of winnings.
You get to look at 4x4Grrl's 34DD's bounce around all day. :D

Hmmm, let's see if I qulaify:

You must be STRONG and BIG. No weaklings need apply.
5,10", 220, and I can pick up and carry a D70 by myself.

You must be familiar with competition type wheelin. Techniques, etc....

Well, most importantly I can "spot" (we call it conning) a hovering 10 ton helicopter over a tiny pitching boat deck in 30 knot winds in the middle of the Atlantic while simultaneously winching people to safety from 100 feet up. Also done it over land amongst power-lines (scary!) and trees. Precise, clear communications and crew coordination mean life or death. Plus, I've watched every comp they ever put on video tape several times.

You must be a good driver! The best drivers make the best spotters!

I *think* I can hold my own...at least as well as lots of the guys I've watched on video.

You probably should live in Northern CA, so you can practice.

Awww, Hell! I guess Nova Scotia's not exactly close! Too bad - I was a shoe-in!!;)

I'm in. I can wheel, understand the competitions, 6ft 220, good communicator and know when not to give advice.

However, I think it would be cool to have a woman spotter. I think the whole GrrrlPower wheeling is cool, but some people will say that Kelly just needs a man to give her direction in order to win (I don't feel that way BTW)

Lemme know

NO, that is precisely why I am looking for a man. Don't think I could ever replace you with another chick. :D You were the only girl that I knew with the experience, strength and no fear type of attitude. Not enough, women have the experience or strength unfortunately.

I think a girl would be cool too. But the only girls that I know that have the knowledge of how to spot for a comp either already competing themselves, live too far away, just could only compete for the other comps in Sept or just can't get the time off work.

I really need somebody strong because it is DEFINITELY a strap pulling competition. And I really want to stay in the top ten so I REALLY need somebody that understands what it takes to spot in extreme situations.

So far I am in 6th place in the Womens and 9th place in CalRocs. So if all goes well I will be competing in the Super Crawl. Which means that my spotter for Calrocs will more than likely be needed for the Super Crawl.

And another thing is that I am a broke mo-fo and can't afford to fly somebody out. I would prefer to have a local person so we can practice.

Let me present my resume.
Pro's:
I have the strength.
I am familiar(even though it doesnt usually show) with competition type wheeling.
I live in Nor. Cal., and I love to practice.
I can concentrate on bouncing boobies, for long stretches of time.

Cons:
If I spot like I drive, you may want to take out more insurance on Kelly.
I will be busy that day kicking Kelly's butt on the courses.

Damn, I guess Im overqualified for the position,...still the PERKS are very tempting. :D

Well we will start out with the CalROCS event at Donner Ski Ranch in Norden, CA. This is in September.

If Kelly and the spotter work well together, and they are willing, then they will be asked to spot for her in Farmington, NM in October. It won't really cost you anything, we can arrange to drive you to the events, and we will share a hotel room with you (we will pay for it).

Again, we are not looking for a female spotter! we are looking for a BIG STRONG MALE SPOTTER.

So far it looks like the only person who is interested is SeanP? Anyone else interested?

Well I would like to do it, but I am currently building a Jeep for the stock mod. class and hope to be done with it for the Sept. CalRocs. Then from there I will be spotting for the Fernly ProRocks. As for the other events, I just cant afford the time off of work.

I would be interested in spotting for Kelly (only needs a spotter for moral support, she can tear it up), or H8 (Lord knows he needs all the help he can get :flipoff2: ) If I spot for Jeff I am going to make the throttle remote control and only let Jeff shift and steer. :D I will handle all the throttle duties.

I am only 5'8" 180lbs, here in Sacramento but I can spot just about any vehicle through any line and I can wheel pretty good myself. I can also latch onto a strap like an unemployed relative.

We are still putting together a schedule for next season, but figure on about 9-12 events, with about 6 being major events, that would count for a season points race.

I feel pretty lucky after reading all of these posts. My wife would make a great spotter for you but she justs spots for me. She not only makes a great off-road spotter, but she is a great shot with most any weapon, excellent sniper, good knife fighter, good martial artist, rock climbs, back packs, expert skier, mechanic's helper, mother of four, professional interior designer, and bakes a great apple pie..... See if you can find her in the background pictures on www.urbansurvivirs.com Good luck on your search for a spotter.;)

OKay guys looks like I have some very qualified individuals. This is what I do need from the person that does spot for me:

CalRocs - Sept 28 & 29th Donnor Ski Ranch
Super Crawl October 11-13th

I really need for the person to be there for both. I don't want to recruit a new person every time. Better chances of having the same person.

Also, I would really like for the person to be available to come out with Lance and I to the Women's Skyjacker Event in Cedar City on Sept 11-12 that way they can get watch how I drive and the way Lance spots for me. Although, you could be a little nicer. :flipoff2: Lance.

So the people that think they can be there giving a few extra days for travel let me know.

Oh and how big are your thumbs :D *LOL*

Man there are times when I would kill to live down there.I mean what the hell is wrong with you guys. She wears a bikini top and bounces all over the place what more reason do you need.I'm telling you if the flights were cheap I'd been on this like stink on shit.I have a fairly low center of gravity 6' and I'm back at 265(guess I'm happy again)so I think I would match up to your previous spotter well ;) Maybe I'll get Kim to check flight prices and get out and practice with Whizzy some more.I promise I won't eat at any restaurants in town anymore.Oh BTW does it come with some good old mams cookin?I'm there if it's part of the deal.Hell you can keep the prize money if she feeds me.Oh wait that would be the prize money.

I wish I could help out, I got big titties (that's the real reason Shupee recruited me from Charlie) and have been known to heft a rock or two. Just got too expensive to fly out for every compeition from the east coast. But if Shupee is buying, I'm game.
