: is my cylinder head repairable?

thats it. craked between the valves on cylinder #1, not too sure if its repairable or if ill need a new head?

Get a new head. Its not worth trying to repair a cracked head. Get a head from a junkyard, have a machine shop check it, do a valve job, then slap it back on. Since you are in this deep, a cam swap is super easy and gets a bit more power out of the motor.

If you have lots of cash you can always spring for the Aluminum head from Hesco to really pepp up the ponys from the 4.0L

thats my problem im VERY low on funds i got the xj with a blown head gasket for 260 bucks.. ill junkyard a head i guess any way i can guarantee the new one wont have a bent rod or valve or somethin?

bring acetone with you. tip the head upside down and fill the cumbustion chambers with the acetone. if it starts coming out the intake or exhaust ports, leave it. If you can't find any that completely seal, find the slowest leaker and check for cracks. if no cracks. take home, lap valves, recheck repeat if necessary.
