Hey guys,

Well, we all made it here safe and sound. We're living in some coporate condos until we can locate and purchase a home (hopefully within 45 days), so things are kind of weird. No room for much stuff, let alone working on trucks.

But....

That hasn't slowed me down any. I purchased a '94 LWB, Alpine White, 98K, super clean (cleaner than the first LWB), for 9K today.

The guy I bought it from took it as collateral from a buddy he loaned money too, the buddy defaulted, so the LWB went in the paper. He liked my story and sold it to me after getting higher offers from other people. Hehe.

I also spent a week in Paso Robles after the crewcab was delivered. It's in good hands down there and should be running and driving by Sept. 1. It'll definitely be done by Moab.

I don't have an ISP in Vegas yet, so I dial in to my Portland # and check e-mail about once a week. I need to get on the stick and get a dialup # at least here, but until I do...

Anyway, just checking in and offering my version of an update.

Hey Mikey...If your trucks going to be done by Sept 1, the Coope can build my part time puck! He mentioned that he's swamped with "other" projects, and his lathe is still in Oregon...Now he'll have plenty of time for me! <kidding>.

Actually it's gonna' be REAL tight to get done (enough) for the rally anyway. Final burn in of the front end will happen Tuesday night. Then it's on to the break-lines, hydro-lines, fuel pump and wiring, body-work, paint, cage, and beta-test...Hey no problem right?

Yeah D, and then when all your shiaaat is done you can fly over to Billster's place and help him finish up his truck!

It's gonna be a cool September baaaaby!!!!!
