The beach? Johnson Valley?? or the "drug capital"???

San Diego is minutes away from the beach, with real salt water.

San Diego is about 150 miles from Johnson Valley.

Which "drug capital"????

Just come on out. I was camping out there and a guy pulled up in a rental car and wanted to see the famned Hammers. He asked if there was a spare seat and he was offered several.

On the other hand...

Glamis during Thanksgiving week is a must see in one's lifetime.

You've obviously never been to Acapulco.

I've been there over 20 times and I still haven't seen a Gringo there.

It's far safer than any town I've lived in in the states.

I'll be at the Hammers just about every weekend throughout the winter.

I'm a big fan of Mexico. Been there many times, but only a couple of times to Acapulco.
But that doesn't change the fact that before Tijuana became the turf war zone that Acapulco was the turf war zone!

Hey Dallas, we had a change of plans.... looks like we're staying home for the week. I think is was 2005 when we had our last Thanksgiving out there with you and Arna and the gang. That was the best Thanksgiving ever! No family drama, no major cooking... awe man, now I'm :( that we're not going.

You guys all have fun and be safe. REMEMBER, BUCKLE UP AT ALL TIMES GUYS!

I was out there a couple of weeks ago and a guy from the next camp over asked some of the guys in our group to sign a petition to save JV, which they happily did. When the same guy left for the weekend, he left all his trash. Sorta counter productive. I spent a half hour cleaning up his crap. Hope you're having a great time King Size, wish I was there.

It was hard to wake up today and return to work as it is.........then I get a call from a friend telling me that one of our mutual friends passed away for not having a seat belt on :(.

Well, wet blanket, Every line I take "is" the "Easy" line!:flipoff2: But you are right, I strap my kid in tight, then throw on a lap belt, for crawling. I like to think that I have the expereince to know when something is too steep. But, shit happens, your right. Thats why I build extra head room into all of my rigs. I don't want to smack my melon on the cage, much less one of my customers wives coming after me. Even strapped with only a lap belt on, I can't reach any tubes with my head. It may not look the "coolest", but its comp legal, and safe. ;)

I should wear my shoulder/full harness' always,.

I will be more responsible from this point forward, so I don't get more "loopy".
