I need a complete steering column for a 1982 CJ7 Manual Trans. Does anyone know of a swap for this application?

how about a column from an 82 cj7 why do a custom swap from something else. try posting in the wanted section

As far as I know, All the CJ colums are GM made. that will help you some in finding one. Check out the scrap yards, and there are always the parts suppliers.......this isn't that hard to get info on.:flipoff2:

You did'nt answer 502's question. Why do you want to swap it out. Are you looking for something the Cj column does'nt have.
If you are going to be a sensitive DUMB ASS, you probably won't get much help here.

WELL, CJ-JEEPER (GREAT NAME BY THE WAY! DID YOU THINK THAT UP ALL BY YOURSELF?) I WAS LOOKING FOR A STEERING COLUMN FROM ANYTHING THAT WILL WORK IN A 1982 CJ7 W/ MANUAL TRANS. INSTEAD OF TELLING ME SOMETHING I ALREADY KNOW, I THOUGHT I WOULD ACTUALLY GET SOME HELP FROM YOU GUYS. YOU GUYS DON'T TAKE TO NEW PEOPLE VERY WELL.
