So, it was reading the crank position sensor and MAF just fine, but you changed them?

You need to rephrase you question so we can actually understand what you're getting at.

Is your check engine light on? Have you checked the code? How long is a "little while"?

yes i change the maf sensor but not the crank sensor.

the check engine is still on for the maf and crank sensor.

maybe 5 to 10 sec. it will run good and start running like shit.

Hmm, I assume that the motor is cold when this happens.

Not sure why it would take a dump within 5-10 seconds. It should be still running on the "open" loop until things warm up, correct?

As you know, these things are REALLY hard to diagnose over the internet, especially since I'm not ASE certified. What was the last thing you changed? Did this problem come up all of a sudden?

yes it did
and it doesnt matter if its hot or cold.
but my friend was playing with the wiring harness and got the truck to idle but when you rev up it still back fires in the intake.

correct.the 3rz has a distributor.had the same problem with my 96.replaced the cat(new it was bad when it started to sound like a rattlesnake).still bogged down.replaced my plugs, wires, cap and rotor.now she rumbles and does not bog down at all.i think you'd know it if it was your timing belt.

SPACE BAR... and the 3RZ has a timing CHAIN, not a belt.
