IMHO, don't use Dex cool in anything! Dex cool has a tendency to eat seals and gaskets up over time and it also doesn't cool as well. On top of that I've heard of bad things happening if you mix dex cool with the normal green stuff (although I've never had to personally deal with it).

The only thing I will run in my cars whether they are GM, Chrysler, Ford, or whatever is the plain old green stuff that has been around for years.

10 or 12 years ago we mixed some green with some dexcool in a cup an let it sit. It turned into a coagulated mess floating in orangy/brown liquid. I wouldn't want that in my engine.

Sell that junk to someone who doesn't know any better.

It doesn't protect from rust, it doesn't cool very well and it ruins engines with corrosion.

I've never seen any that made it more than a year or so before it looked like mud and stained everything in the cooling system a dark brown.

Run it if you have to, but flush all the old stuff out before you refill. It does work, but I don't like the stuff.

I've had really good luck with walmart stuff, prestone, zerex, autozone etc. I'm pretty sure they are all made by the same factory if they are generic. They all smell the same and seem to work equally well.

The red Toyota stuff is excellent, the Yellow stuff is also pretty good.
