I have been getting some really bad clicking noises from the t-case (I think, at least it sounds like from there) under high torque situations. Like trying to climb steep rock walls or putting it under tension. I thought it was the chain slipping, so I took it apart and looks good, but there are some metal shavings in there and the bearings do have a little play. I expected the teeth to be missing and torn up, but they look fine. Could a small amount of play in the bearings cause the chain to slip? I am looking for a step by step rebuild diagram to put this back together if anyone know of a guide. Not sure if I will get everythng back right otherwise

I dont have a step by step guide but I do know they sell for 150 dollars on the board so I would just go that route. New parts are going to exceed that price.

When I had that clicking I thought it was my case also but it ended up being the cv in my front drive shaft. Put in my spare drive shaft and no more clicking. Took the old drive shaft apart and rebuilt it, put it in the truck and no more clicking.
