I have a 1986+ jeep cj7 258i6 stock. I over heated and pulled over to let it cool off. Cooled it down put water in and couldn't get it to start. Put in new thermostat and still not running. Will turn over, checked all fuses and i am at a loss. Any Great thought?

For an engine to run you need fuel, spark and air in the right proportions( and at the right time). Confirm you have these. Then we can help you get to a solution.
