I just got 4 brand new bilstein 7100's (remote res., 14" travel) for $300. I'm not sure how to set them up. Does anyone have an optimal ratio/nitrogen charge on these. I don't want a super stiff shock.

They're going on my 1990 toyota extended cab.

Were those the Superduty units on ebay? That thing is probably double the weight of a yota, just use one pair up front, one pair out back.

No, they weren't on any truck, brand new in the box. The guy on ebay had some 10" travel shocks listed and I emailed him to see if had an longer ones, sure enough he did. He still has a few sets of 12" travel shocks. Can't beat the price.

Bilstein recomends between 180-220 pounds of pressure ,but I have had mine up to 240 which is the maximum pressure the Aeroquip lines can handle.Do you know the valving on those shocks? Are they set up for Prerunning or rockcrawling?
