WTF, in the last couple days I've been slipping and missing with every attempt to attack somebody, no matter what their level. Can I just buy new shoes :shaking:

Sounds like you need to work on your speed.

Wierd. I go to the gym quite a bit and work on everything, unless you're saying it's a problem with me not clicking attack fast enough. If that's the case, could it be because I'm on dialup? Like I said, it's only a recent thing.

my speed is over 165k and i still slip sometimes, just make sure ur stats are higher then the person u are attacking

Thanks, I only attack if I'm 100% across the board. Maybe I just had a string of bad luck, but if I'm slipping every fawking time then I just stop attacking people for a little while. I'll dick around more with it later today and see what happens.

What players do is leave the game up while you're on the internet and go back to the game every time your energy refills and hit the gym. Even if you're not doing much in the game you're still getting to the gym every chance you can.

Exactly, guys with internet access at work usually get ahead in these games. Just takes a few minutes every half hour or so throughout the day.

Finally broke into level 4 today. Spent a bunch of time at the gym beefing everything up about 100 more points each to around 800, went and attacked a level 3 player and they spanked me... because I kept slipping with every lunge. Tried on a level 2 player and got the same result. Sweet! Only way I can go without slipping now is to attack a level 1 player, but I think it's kinda chicken shit for the guys in substantially higher levels to attack somebody so far below them, so I don't want to keep attacking newbs. I'm done with the game for a while, something's not right and I'm kinda losing patience.

Speed, I train it twice for every one in strength and guard. Those are the three to concentrate on also.

train speed only, my speed is higher then all my other stats.

also they might be donators or have better weapons and armor.

sometimes lower level players message me to buy them higher level stuff

Substantially higher is not just a few levels. You're not even out of the lower players chance at that. The way the attack works is there are three instances, lower players, players around the same level, and higher players. Each instance has a experience payout min and max. The higher player being the best. The exp result is based on your and the opponents stats, how bad you beat them. If they fall into the higher player instance there is more exp. The difference just starts at five levels other wise they are about the same as you.

People play the game different, some race to get as high as they can as far as level and others work on their stats and don't rush to level. These players will always be stronger if played right. At some point it is better to move on and get a better rig so your results for the gym are better.

If you're not advancing, don't get frustrated, just ask someone that is doing well in the game, they will usually be glad to share ideas with you. There are many players in the game that aren't donating doing well, it just takes more time. Once you get to level 5 and get a better rig the results in the gym get better as they do as you gain levels and get better rigs. If you quit before level 20 you're missing half the fun! We're working on the head to head rig competitions now that will be opened up at level 20.

Thanks, I trained everything equally but will concentrate on just speed from now on. I'm a donator too, and despite attacking them with my rambo knife, they often only come back with fists and still kick my ass.

Substantially higher is not just a few levels.

Sorry, I guess I'm not saying that right. The douchebags who're level 15, 20, or even higher, who keep attacking low level players are the ones I'm speaking of. Having been repeatedly beat by them, when it seems like they should be attacking people a little closer to them, is what makes me not want to attack level 1 guys.

I tried again a couple more times, slipped nearly every shot and got beat with fists again. Sweet. I don't want to sound like I'm bitching, guess I just had different expectations for a very odd game. It's definately a learning experience if nothing else.

Are you in a gang that is in a war? Other than that I can't see the benefit of attacking you either if they are at those levels.

kneedownnate
11-19-2008, 10:02 PM
Nope, not involved with any gangs. It's mainly 2 or 3 upper level players who I'm assuming got where they were by hitting the easy marks. I can see the logic in doing that with players who are either never on or haven't been on in a long time, mostly cause it won't mess with their game, but I see them doing it to active low level players all the time.

hitting lower players is worthless u dont get any exp. the only reason I will hit a lower player is to steal money

kneedownnate
11-20-2008, 09:11 PM
Exactly, and I learned early on to hide my money in an account. No biggie, I'm just going to go back to casually playing it every few days or so and not worry about getting too involved.

A guy bought some glitter from me in the middle of the night, then proceeded to beat me repeatedly until he got a good chunk of it back. This seems kinda chicken shit to me.

On a related note, I'm now wondering if I can use my c-4 in an attack, and if the result will help me beat somebody in a much higher bracket... He already hid the money, so it's not like I could beat him and get some of it back, but I don't care a whole bunch about that. I just thought it was sad to log on in the wee morning hours and pull something like that.

I know I know, I just play a little differently and wanted to bitch. I stuck some more glitter on the market and will just have to keep an eye on it until I log off, then pull it off the market when I log out for the night so the same doesn't happen again.

Buying the glitter, then attacking to get the money back..........pure genius :D I wish i thought of that.

It's back again :shake: I'm not buying into the excuse that I need to work on strength, speed or anything else. It's a glitch or something in the game. Yea, I slip and miss every once in a while, or even once or twice a fight if it's a longer one, but just like before I'm slipping every fucking time again.

It seems as if it's a cycle I get stuck in and not a lack of strength or speed.

I guess it'd help to mention that I'm at level 7 and got beat by a level 3 player I attacked because I slipped not once, not twice, but every single time!

I do know how to play the game. Why is it so funny? It's been a while since I had time to play but I gained 3 levels by attacks won that others started.. So this is a perfect example of what you can do if you work out a lot. I had 233 events. I never gave it a thought that it was me because I thought I was still at level one.

ClarkJ

I thought it was funny, they way you said it. It is a low level account that has good stats. I got my ass handed to me by a guy 4 levels lower and I couldn't figure it out until he told me his stats.

Yea that's the way I play the game, I work out like hell and let others attack me, do all the work and get pissed cause they lose to a lower player.:flipoff2:

Edit: and I left some money out in the open for bait.
