For ERoCC-
I don't honestly know is if there is any way my tires will fit a 36" caliper. By a rough estimate they are WAY to big. Tonight I'm going to sit down and get serious with the measurements and figure out how much would need to come off. I can do the frame tie-ins in one afternoon so Sunday is looking good for them. I got the spare spring pack and a spare 60 cover this weekend. Need to pick up the 14bolt cover, found it already just need to bring my hi-lift to pull it. Other than the tires everything is a go, I'll work with the rubber tonight and see what's up.

This is Attica...there are no hot spots...heh heh...

Robies is one possibility tho...and Brandy is the cute bartender there....she makes a mean bloody mary too.... :D

Open as usual, with the quarry being closed for the comps. It is my understanding that you can pay the $10 spectator fee and walk back to the quarry, or pay the daily fee of $15 and wheel, just not in the quarry. You could get closer this way and walk outta the woods to the quarry. NO ALCHOHOL, NO SHADE! Bring water and sunscreen, umbrellas, and string bikini's Pinkdude will be in one!

Although, I do have video of my buddy body slamming one of the female Atticans on a snow pile when we were playing king of the hill with them the night Attica was supposedly under Marshall Law (big snow storm). My college buddies and I couldn't get back to our hotel in Danville so we were stuck "playing" with the local Atticans. It's an excellent campfire story. There's something in there about strip fooseball too. :D

I don't remember the name of it, but THE joint is the jiggly bar back in Lafayette that Bigdude mentioned ... a few blocks down from the Red Roof Inn. There are also a bunch of excellent college bars in that town. And the local female population is always looking to be ruined.

I'll be pullin' up a spot of grass in Woody's campsite so be on the loockout for the blue camo cruiser. I'll be pimpin' in the red convertible. :)

But I may not be able to compete at Neurocs in the Stock class(width issue and I dont think I would do well in the Pro Mod class) so I may end up at Summit! If I do, I hope to get to meet you!!!!

Get on down to Erocc's. Legends class has no width limits, except the cones!

Summers Campground is located 10 miles north of Attica, just west of Hwy 55. Pool, clean showers, fairly large sites, easy in-out for big trucks/trailers.

You do know this is next weekend?

Here is the scoop on the campground as I recall it. To get there from Badlands, go north to HWY 28 (runs e-w thru town) turn left (west) and go about a mile over the bridge. Turn right (north) on HWY 55 it's marked, and go 7-8 miles. You will see a couple of small signs on the side of the road marking the turn to the campground. You turn left on a gravel road maybe a mile, then right a short way to the campground.

The primitive camping is in the back, it's a large open grass field surrounded by heavy tree cover. They reserve about 25 spots with picnic tables and fire rings, but have room for twice that many if you manage the parking (tow rigs and trailers). The rate was $14 for 2 per night last year, I don't know if that changed.

The restrooms and showers are pretty nice for a campground. All housed in block buildings, near the pool and general store. They are insistant that we keep the noise down after 11 pm, and they will be making the rounds if needed to boot the rowdies. Adult beverages are permitted, fires in the rings, and bring some bug repellant!

Alright, now that i got my days straightened out. Rob, is talking about going to Indy this weekend, and I just assumed that he was going for the event, but it doesn't matter, I'm still in.

As far as the camping goes, I don't take up much space, so hopefully i can buy some ground off someone. As it stands now I'll probably be there this saturday(with rob), and more than likely definetly back again next Friday afternoon.

If I camp there I need to steal tent space Friday (I think SG wants me in his tent cause he keeps PMing me :flipoff2:).

Syko, myself, CMK, and others will DEFINITELY be hitting the jiggly bar Saturday and we are all welcome to crash at my dad's in Lafayette for a short while before trekking back to Attica (assuming we would drink enough to not feel like driving back to Attica right away).

who the hell knows....end of the day, had already run the entire orange and pink trails, plus much of the challenging stuff in the quarry...decided at 4:30 to take a spin around the ridge before heading out to the office....4th in line, slippery trail, and I tried a higher line. I think I was actually too tired to take my foot out of it when the drivers rear dropped into a hole. Wife laughed the whole time we went over - glad we finally flopped on MY side!

I gotta flop every time there....it's becoming tradition. Better on the easy/soft stuff than on the rocks I guess....

Checkout the main forum page and look at the bottom. How many total messages does it say you have?

Wow! I thought I was taking a few pics when I took over 600 at the June ERoCC event. Needles to say, I am sure there will be a few pics floatin' around after this event.

I likewise have a laptop and can hold pics for you guys. I can burn them to cd the following week after I get back to work (need the network to transfer the files back to the burner). I also have a 16 and 64 mb stick and I won't be taking pics.

On that note if anyone would use my camera and tripod and get some shots (never get pics of my shit) I would be very appreciative. BTW, it's a coolpix 995 3.2 megapixel cam. I also have a nice little 8 mm video cam I should bring.

I'm actually arriving in Attica (Summers campground) tonight around 11pm or so. We are hitting trails on Thurs and Friday, then watching/helping on Sat and Sun. The quarry area will be closed due to the event, but the balance of the park and some of the trail areas should be open for use.

We are the same on working...talked with Troy that week and we have like 5-6 people coming down to assist, but he wasn't sure what would be needed - Bob is "in charge" of all that. Well I just returned from the Pro-Rock event. It was wicked. The trails were greasy to say the least. There were about 17 vehicles including both classes.
There was some good carnage on the first couple stages. There was a new white TJ in the stock mod class that did a roll and mangled the hood and then somehow ended up on its wheels in the creek (I think today it could have been classified as a river!). The same TJ later smoked the radiator and was out for the day. The damn thing only had 20 some thousand on it.
The Pro's ran a good show although we left a little early. I dont know many of the names of the competitors since I dont follow that circuit that much. I will get some of these pics up. I had to use a regular camera and have CVS put the pics on disc so they basically suck but I will put them up for your pleasure!

Yea the whole run was on Mission Impossible trail. It was a hard a wet course all day long. The cones were very close and the rocks were huge. Getting ready to go back today I will throw some pics up when i get home. As for the Purple CJ7 he did ok, as in no body damage or major carnage. But I think everyone of the stock mods had trouble getting over most of the obstacles. It was total hell down there yesterday!

Thanks bigjeep, I know its perty now but it didnt used to be. He is coming off of two wins at the last two Prorock events.
